Info Post
This doesn't capture my sentiments exactly, it's sort of thin, but I think it raises an important point. I always felt that liking Obama was what the cool kids were doing. And now we see the tides a-shifting, just like how once the hipsters were sort of hidden in Williamsburg and the like, but then Urban Outfitters made it spread to the rest of America, and now all the sixteen-year-old boys in Boise and Charlotte and Des Moines are doing the bangs-in-the-eyes thing and all the girls are wearing those huge sunglasses, and so hipsterdom begot something else, and I'm losing my train of thought here because I worry that a tipping point might be a good thing for someone who wants to win the Democratic ticket, and so I was hoping this would lead me into a Hillary-is-going-to-win polemic but instead I think it means that regardless of whether or not it's cool to like Obama anymore, the snowball effect already taken hold, Urban Outfitters is a goddamn empire... Oh crap.

But COME ON: that "Yes We Can" video was utter bullcrap.

In any case, did we all get the memo? Liking Obama isn't the cool thing to do anymore. Now he's just a prsidental candidate--a great one! I'm not a hater! I'll vote for him if he gets the slot--and the pro-Hillary among us can carry on feeling comfortable in our New Balances and... playing with our iPhones?

Update: speak of the devil.
